    Beijing Institute of Architectural Design (BIAD), which was established in October 1949 following the founding of the People's Republic of China , is a large-scale state-owned architectural design and consulting institute. Along with the social development in China, BIAD has completed a large number of symbolic buildings across the nation, such as Capital airport, Zhejiang Academy of Art of China and Chongqing People’s Plaza, etc.

    　

    Qinghe International Architectural Studio is one of the test units of the BIAD after the system change, and also the largest integrated studio with the most specialties in BIAD. With the support of the strong platform of BIAD, the studio in cooperation with international institutions like US Callison, Austrian COX, UK TFP and HK P & T Architects and Engineers Ltd., etc. has succeeded in the design of multinational engineering and residential projects, such as Beijing Guiguliangcheng, Moscow China Trade Center, Beijing-Guantang, Phase Ⅳ of Beijing Century Oriental City and Jinan Minghu Tiandi, etc.
