Industrial Environment
Over 80 transnational companies and 50 of the World Top 500 enterprises are gathered in BDA, including Coca-Cola, Nokia, Lucent, Siemens, GM, IBM and Benz, etc, forming five big industrial ecological chains, namely, biological technology and new medicament, electronics, mechanical, electric and light integration, new material and new energy and software production. It has become the biggest mobile communication industry base in China, the biggest electronic information industry base in Beijing, one of the three software production bases in Beijing and also the Medicine Valley in considerable size.

In addition, as the only national level economic technology development area in Beijing, any enterprise here could enjoy favorable policies for both the national level economic technology development area and the national level high and new technology industrial gardens, where one-stop services of procedures like verification, registration and project establishment are provided to residing enterprises.

The large scale industrial clusters together with favorable tax policies and efficient one-stop services have formed a perfect industrial ecological environment in this park.

 Natural Ecology
BDA sets very strict environmental protection index upon all residing enterprises. Low density, low capacity, high foliage planting ratio for public framework, industrial and residential projects, natural ecological area of the Liangshui River and international enterprise cultural garden, just like the green lung of the development area, beautify the natural environment in the area. With virescence rate of up to 40% its air quality is superior to that of the central urban area by one or two levels. It has been classified as the ISO 14000 national model area by the State Environmental Protection Administration. More than 2,000 enterprises in the BDA pursue the harmonious development of ecology and commerce, and have jointly established a fine natural ecological environment.
